The Red Rovers were looking to get back into the win column after losing their last matchup against Whitehall, while the Golden Hawks were looking to continue their winning streak.
EPC Baseball Championship- (1) Liberty vs. (3) Northampton
The EPC Baseball Championship got underway Thursday night at Weiland Park between (1) Liberty and (3) Northampton. This would be the first matchup between Liberty and Northampton this season. Liberty entered this contest with a 20-2 record as for Northampton they entered with a record of 19-3.
Saucon Valley vs. Freedom Girls Lacrosse
The Saucon Valley girls lacrosse team was looking to bounce back after a tough overtime loss to Easton, while Freedom was looking to avenge their loss to Saucon Valley from earlier this season.

It was a big matchup in the Colonial League last Friday when Southern Lehigh traveled to Northwestern on the Tigers homecoming night. The Spartans were looking for their third straight win and the chance to be over .500 on the season.
PIAA 4A Football Quarterfinals- Bethlehem Catholic vs. Pottsgrove
After winning the District XI 4A Title Bethlehem Catholic moved on to the PIAA 4A Football Playoffs. The Golden Hawks have reached the Semifinals in each of the past two seasons, but first they would have to get past Pottsgrove in their Quarterfinal matchup.

The boys Colonial League quarterfinal took place on Saturday afternoon at the home court of Catasauqua. Earlier in the season Wilson defeated Catty, but by only a 5 point margin. A completely different story this time around as Wilson takes down Catsauqua in demanding fashion. The Warriors now look to avenge their regular season losses to Bangor in the Colonial League Championship.

On the girls side, the Easton Rovers look to avenge last years EPC League loss to Parkland. For the boys, Allentown Central Catholic faces up against Parkland looking for the League Title.

The Golf State Championships were held earlier in the week at Heritage Hills Golf Resort in York. Which had six individuals representing District XI all looking to get State Gold.
PIAA East Regional Golf Championships
The PIAA East Regional Golf Championships were held at Golden Oaks Country Club on Monday. Fifteen District XI qualifiers participated in Monday's Championship, all playing for a chance to move on to States.
EPC Golf Tournament
The rain would eventually pass and in just enough time to get in the EPC Golf Tournament. It would come down to very last stroke in determining the 2018 EPC Team Champion.

As most of the high school Fall sports start to wind down and playoffs begin, so do the District XI Tournaments. For the golfers in District XI, they were trying to put a nice stamp on the end of their season as well as try and set up a nice run for a state title. It was another successful season for the Parkland Girls Soccer Team that saw them win another EPC and District XI Title while also making it to the Second Round of the PIAA Tournament. Northern Lehigh Baseball Strike Out Cancer Game
A Colonial League contest between Northern Lehigh and Palmerton took place Wednesday, but it was more then just another regular matchup as Northern Lehigh held their Strike Out Cancer game in support of Zachary Long. Just a couple months into his Freshman year at Penn State University, Zach was diagnosed with APL Leukemia. Being a Northern Lehigh Graduate and Penn State Student Zach had a strong supporting cast of family and friends as he went through the toughest time of his life. Zach was honored and threw out the first pitch prior to the start of the Strike Out Cancer Game.

The Parkland Trojans represent the Lehigh Valley Scholastic Hockey League in this years Flyers Cup. The Trojans entered the Flyers Cup after finishing their regular season with a record of 16-3-1 and beating Northampton in the LVSHL Title Series. Wednesday night the first round of the Flyers Cup got underway at Grundy Arena as (9) Parkland faced off against (8) Neshaminy.

Student Athletes from eighteen different high schools from around the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference got together for a competition fundraiser among the schools to raise donations for the Lehigh Valley Health Network.

Easton hosted its sixth annual Wall of Fame Banquet this past Saturday. A night that celebrates the history of Easton sports in which fourteen varsity athletes and nine varsity teams were honored and inducted into the Easton Wall of Fame.

Southern Lehigh Girls Tennis Helps Out Harvey Victims
The Southern Lehigh Girls Tennis team is trying to do their part in helping out Houston from the devastation of Hurricane Harvey. With the help of Discover cards match program, head coach Andrea Drabenstott had the idea to put her girls to work and help raise money for Harvey victims by holding a car wash. The total amount they raised was $635, with the match program it then raises to $1,270!
2017 PIN Cancer Summer Match
For the sixth straight year, the Phillipsburg High School and the Washington High School Wrestling team would square off in a summer match to benefit the PIN Cancer Organization. All the money raised in this event goes directly to the cancer research as well as raising awareness for the cause and organization.

Heading West to Hamburg high school to be able to get some baseball action in because of the weather. Palisades would take on Southern Lehigh, the #3 seed, who just beat the #2 seed Northwestern in the semifinals. Palisades would top Saucon Valley 8-3 to advance. The two meeting now, with only one walking away as your Colonial League Champion.

It was only 4 years ago that Saquon Barkley was gearing up for preseason at Whitehall High School. Now, still getting reading for another football season but this time instead of maroon and gold, he'll be dressed in Giants blue. In a town that stretches less than a square mile, would be home to a parade that would celebrate a star both on and off the field. Saquon Barkley: you might remember him from his time at Whitehall where he would hurdle his opponents, or from Penn State University where the hurdling only continued. But for all that he has done on the field, a day dedicated to him wasn't just about those accomplishments, but also for the guy he is off the field. Thousands would show up in the town of Coplay, PA to celebrate Saquon. To wish him the best of luck in his new journey in the NFL in less than a month, but also to celebrate his parents for raising the man into who he is today in the "little town that could".
Local Brothers Representing in FIL World Lacrosse Championships
Emmaus boys lacrosse head coach Desi Gonzalez and his brother Lou, are gearing up for the FIL World Lacrosse Championships. The two will be representing Puerto Rico as their first national team. They will be playing their first match against Whales, on July 13th.
PAAC Firecracker Meet
The Fourth of July holiday went all the way through the weekend for Parkland Aquatic Club's 4th Annual Firecracker Meet at the Mack Pool in Allentown. The weather could not have been better for the 600 swimmers and 30 teams competing at the swim meet. Competition would come from all across the Lehigh Valley and all the way from Philadelphia and New Jersey, for the chance to swim in the 50 meter pool.
The Saquon Barkley Fan Base
There is very few players, especially rookies, that have the same amount of hype surrounding them as NY Giants running back Saquon Barkley does. The determined rookie doesn't let that get to him though, keeping his head down and mind focused on working hard for his first ever football season as a pro. It's also just as rare to have a following and support system like Barkley has, from his hometown. Even though the pressure might be on, after having a 3-13 season, the fans are just excited to see what Barkley can do.

We all know the comeback story of Logan Kreglow, who suffered a devastating injury during his senior football season. Kreglow recovered in more ways than one, succeeding at the collegiate level as a decathlete at Cornell University but after school knew he was destined for even more. Keystone Pub was the host to the watch party for Logan as friends, family and former coaches gathered to watch Logan on the big stage in the ANW Philly City Finals.

The Big 33 Football Classic; one of a high school football player's dream to get an invitation to play. A game that invites the best players from the state, where four total players would represent the Lehigh Valley. Just as big an accomplishment as it is for the players, same goes for coaches, where one Lehigh Valley coach would get to represent.

In EPC play, it was Liberty and Freedom meeting with more than just the city rivalry on the line. The two both needed a win in order to keep their postseason hopes alive. As well as one Liberty senior who was looking to join the schools' rather exclusive 1,000 point club.

Liberty and Allentown Central Catholic hosted their Signing Days last week, where they celebrated and honored those student-athletes for making their commitments.
Jeff Dailey Memorial Golf Tournament
It was a beautiful day for friends and family to get out on the golf course, for the 11th annual Jeff Dailey Foundation, as they hosted the Jeff Dailey Memorial Golf Tournament held at Green Pond Country Club. The golf tournament and foundation is in memory of Jeff Dailey, the former standout basketball player from Notre Dame who tragically passed away in a house fire at ESU in 2007. This tournament is one of the biggest fundraising events for the foundation, which brought out a total of 288 golfers.
ICANSHINE Bike Camp
This week there was a unique and inspirational camp for kids with disabilities who want to learn how to ride a bike and become a lifelong rider. Easton Area High School was the host to ICANSHINE Bike Camp, where 5 days were dedicated to teaching the kids how to ride. The goal? To have a lot of fun, progress in some way and even ride a two-wheel bicycle.

We shared the story of the ICANSHINE Bike Camp where children with disabilities learned to ride a two-wheel bike. At the end of their week not only did they know how to ride a bike but they also got their awards for a job well done!

An EPC Boys Tennis showdown was held Tuesday at Emmaus High School between two of the top teams in the EPC in Parkland and Emmaus. Both teams looking to get back into the win column after suffering a loss in their last contest.

An out of conference showdown between Moravian Academy and Emmaus took place Saturday at Emmaus High School. Moravian Academy is one of the top teams in the Colonial League and the same can be said for Emmaus in the EPC, both teams entered this matchup with twelve wins.

Emmaus Tennis standout Sean Jaeger just swept through the District XI Tournament dropping only two games in five matches in which he went on to claim his second District XI Title. The Sophomore plans on continuing to improve his play as he gets ready for a run in the State Tournament.

Easton Youth Wrestling Camp
The Easton Red Rovers Wrestling Team hosted their Annual Youth Wrestling Camp at Easton High School. The Camp puts the young athletes through different drills to teach the fundamentals needed to become a better wrestler on the mat.

Phillipsburg Youth Football Camp
Maloney Stadium was the host site for the Phillipsburg Youth Football Camp. The free camp ran by Phillipsburg Head Coach Frank Duffy is all about teaching the youth about the tradition and pride involved with playing football as a Phillipsburg Stateliner.
Trojan Youth Football Camp
The Parkland Trojans hosted their Annual Youth Football Camp at Parkland High School. The three day camp ran by Parkland Football Coaches helped the young athletes fine-tune their skill set on the football field.

Every spring the annual McDonald's Lehigh Valley Football Classic is held as senior athletes from schools around the Lehigh Valley are selected to play on the Gold or Red team and represent their school on the football field on last time.

District XI Championship wrestling was on tap at Freedom High School this past weekend. While the 3A finals were held on one side of the mat, the other side of the gym hosted the 2A Championship between Wilson and Saucon Valley. The Warriors were looking to take down the reigning District Champs, while the Panthers were hoping for their third straight title.

It was one year ago that the Bethlehem Catholic wrestling team would lose in a nail-biter to the Nazareth Blue Eagles. This year would be a little bit different. The Hawks of Becahi would have a wonderful ending for both the team and head coach, Jeff Karam.

The PIAA 3A Wrestling Finals were held over the past weekend at the Giant Center in Hershey. The Finals showdown was between two District XI teams in Northampton and Bethlehem Catholic. This is the third time this season these two teams have met with Bethlehem Catholic winning the previous two matchups.

The PIAA 2A Regional Wrestling Finals were hosted over this past weekend at Wilson West Lawn High School. As some Colonial League Wrestlers hoped to punch their ticket to the State Championships at Hershey.

The PIAA Wrestling Tournament started Monday night with the Preliminary Rounds in the 2A and 3A Bracket being held at Catasauqua High School. On the 2A side Notre Dame Green Pond was looking to get to Hershey for the first time in program history as they hit the mat with a matchup against Boiling Spring. While on the 3A side of things Northampton faced Central Dauphin with a trip to the Giant Center in Hershey on the line.
NJSIAA North 2 Group 4 Wrestling Semifinal- Phillipsburg vs. Cranford
The NJSIAA North 2 Group 4 Wrestling Semifinal was hosted at Phillipsburg High School Wednesday night as the Stateliners took the mat to face the Cranford Cougars. Phillipsburg looking for a win to advance to the finals for a chance to win their twenty first Sectional Title in their program's history.

It was an EPC Division matchup between Liberty and Emmaus on Wednesday night. Liberty entered this contest ranked #1 in the State in the 3A Classification, while Liberty's Head Coach Jody Karam was looking to reach a milestone in wins.

The District XI 2A Wrestling Championships were held this past weekend at Memorial Gymnasium. The 2A Championships had fifteen finalist from Colonial League Schools as Notre Dame Green Pond saw six of their own wrestlers as finalist, Saucon Valley had five finalist, while Wilson had four finalist all looking to claim District Gold.

With the EPC Boy's Basketball Tournament coming to an end the Championship matchup was set and hosted Saturday night at Easton Area Middle School between (1) Bethlehem Catholic and (2) Emmaus. The Golden Hawks were looking to win back to back EPC League Titles.

The Colonial League Girl's Basketball Championship was a matchup between (1) Notre Dame Green Pond vs. (2) Southern Lehigh. Notre Dame ended their regular season with a perfect 18-0 Colonial League record, while Southern Lehigh was looking to win their fourth straight Colonial League Championship.
Freedom Football - The Young Brothers
Last Fall was the first year that the Freedom high school football program played without one of the Young Brothers on the field. Program changers on the field as well as leaders on and off of it. Palisades Searching for Another District Title
The Palisades football program put themselves back on the map after a very successful 2017 season. A season where they went undefeated, up until their loss in the PIAA playoffs. The Pirates also captured a Colonial League title and their first District XI Title since 2008. This year the seniors are hungry for a second straight District Championship and are very confident in the underclassmen to step up in key roles this season.

Notre Dame Green Pond has two District Titles throughout program history. Both coming back to back in 2015 and 2016. Last year the Crusaders fell short in the Semifinals but look to get District Gold again this year, with their Finals matchup set against North Schuykill. The Colonial League Softball Playoffs got underway this past weekend with a Quarterfinal showdown between (3) Southern Lehigh and (6) Notre Dame Green Pond. These two teams met earlier this season in a contest Southern Lehigh won 15-2.
High School Softball- Emmaus vs. Nazareth
An EPC Skyline Division matchup between Emmaus and Nazareth was held this past Tuesday at Nazareth Intermediate School. Emmaus entered this matchup after winning their season opener 18-0 against Blue Mountain. As for Nazareth this would be their season opener, as the Blue Eagles finished last season with a record of 22-5.
High School Softball- Bangor vs. Freedom
It was an out of conference showdown between Bangor and Freedom on Monday at Freedom High School. Both teams entered this matchup looking to bounce back into the win column after suffering a loss in their last matchup.
EPC Softball Championship- (1) Parkland vs. (3) Northampton
An EPC Softball Championship showdown took place Thursday at Pates Park between (1) Parkland and (3) Northampton. Parkland entered this Championship matchup looking to claim their sixth straight League Title. While Northampton was looking to secure their first League Title since 2007.
High School Softball & Baseball- Phillipsburg vs. Easton
The 2 Sports Challenge Series between cross river rivals Phillipsburg and Easton came to an end this past weekend. The Challenge Series going into Saturday's matchups was in Easton's favor as they lead the series 10-8. With two games left, one on the Softball field and one on the Baseball diamond. Would Phillipsburg be able to tie the Series or would Easton run away and win the Challenge Series Trophy outright.

The Easton Red Rovers Softball Team hosted their annual Varsity "E" Softball Camp this past week. The camp which focuses on the basics and fundamentals of the game is coached by current and former Easton Red Rovers Softball Players.

The Colonial League Softball Championship was hosted Thursday at Pates Park between (4) Palmerton and (6) Notre Dame Green Pond. Palmerton was looking to claim their first League Title in program history. While Notre Dame was looking to capture their first Colonial League Title since 2005.
PIAA 6A Softball 1st Round - Central York vs. Parkland
The Parkland softball team had the tall task of taking down Central York the another night in the PIAA 6A 1st round game. Central York was coming into the matchup with a 21-1 record but the dominance on the mound from Parkland's Kelly Dulaney, would be enough to help the Trojans move on.
Andy Weaver Softball Tournament Fundraiser
If you live in the Lehigh Valley there's a good chance you know who Andy Weaver is. He is a ticket taker, coach, a fan and most importantly a friend. Dimmick Park played host to a softball tournament, used as a fundraiser for Andy in hopes of getting him a new wheelchair.

It would be the Hurricanes of Liberty and the Emmaus Green Hornets fighting for a chance to get into the District Final softball game. Both teams not having a District Title for quite some time.

In EPC, No. 1 Parkland takes on No. 3 Emmaus. In Colonial League, Bangor takes on Salisbury looking to repeat their win from last year and looking for their third Championship crown in the last four years.
District XI 4A Softball Semifinal
It was the nightcap game of the two District XI 4A semifinals where the Bangor Slaters would take on Wilson hoping to get back to another District Championship.
Carpenter Cup Softball Day 2
The girls of the Lehigh Valley Carpenter Cup team had to make a strong comeback in order to find themselves in the championship game. And a strong effort is certainly what you would see winning 3 games after their loss to Berks/L-L, two of those games having combined runs of 29. Unfortunately, they would fall once more to Delaware North a team that also lost to Berks.

Despite suffering one loss in this double elimination tournament, the Lehigh Valley girls would live to see another day. The team now will have to work hard to make a serious comeback in the tournament.
Bangor Softball Falls to Tunkhannock in PIAA 4a Semi-final
The story for this Bangor Slater softball team this season was their ability to come back in games that looked like it was all over. In the PIAA 4A Softball Semi-final, the Slaters would work all the way and keep the faith up until the very last out.

Nazareth Area High School was the host to the EPC Boys Soccer Championship Game. The Championship matchup was between (4) Pleasant Valley and (2) Freedom.
Easton Boys Soccer Camp
The Easton Red Rovers hosted their Annual Boys Soccer Camp at Easton High School, last week. The objective of the camp is to teach the young athletes the fundamentals of soccer.
Lehigh Valley Summer League Soccer Championship
It was the boys turn in the Lehigh Valley Summer League soccer championship game where Penn Ridge would face New Tripoli FC. Penn Ridge already having score 11 goals in the tournament were going up against a team hungry for a championship. New Tripoli has been in the finals for the past 4 years but were the runners-up for those past 4 years.
PIAA 4A Girls Soccer Quarterfinal- Parkland vs. Pennridge
The Parkland Girl's Soccer team was on an 18 game winning streak going into Saturday's matchup in the PIAA 4A Girls Soccer Quarterfinal. Parkland was looking to move on from the Quarterfinal round unlike years prior. This year's matchup was against Pennridge.

Pen Argyl Girls Soccer Program Making Huge Strides
The Pen Argyl girls soccer team has a special group of seniors this year, that have faced adversity ever since their freshman year. During their first year, the program went 0-18 but since have grown not only in wins but as players too. The team went from a zero-win season, to back to back District XI appearances. This year the girls are off to a hot start at 3-0 and have all the same intentions of growing and making their way back to the District playoffs.

A big matchup in the EPC, with Nazareth trying to take down the undefeated Whitehall Zephyrs. The Blue Eagles weren't only looking to be the first to put a 1 in the Zephyr's loss column but were also, looking to avenge their lost to Whitehall from earlier this season.

The Lehigh Valley Tempest is in it's second season as a team in the Women's Premier Soccer League and recently held a youth clinic for kids from 4th-9th grade. The players and coaches work together to give the young athletes a positive and fun learning experience.

The Southern Lehigh Girls Soccer team is hoping to pick up right where they left off with a record of 14-6 last season. With a League Title under their belt, they expect nothing less but hope to improve in District play. Coach Filler says that on the back line and defensively in general, the team is sound but now he looks to improve on the offensive side of the ball.

In the third game this season between the two teams, Palisades and Northwestern, the two would battle for the District XI 2A Title. Northwestern was coming in as the one seed while Palisades the 2. The last time Northwestern won the District Title was in 2014, while the Palisades program has never clinched that title.

The Northwestern boy's soccer team was back in Hershey for the second straight year, but this time they were hoping for a different outcome. In last year's PIAA 3A State Semifinal they faced Lower Dauphin and lost 3-0.

The Northwestern Lehigh boys soccer team has won the Colonial League three of the last four years and off to another great start. Although, Bangor would prove to be a good test in their game last week.

Allentown Central Catholic Looks To Build On Last Year
It is definitely easier for a team to move from off season, to preseason, to the regular season, when you don't lose too many players from the previous year. That is certainly the case for Allentown Central Catholic, as they have almost the entire team returning with at least 8 of them being starters. The team looks to build on the success they had from last year, especially looking to attain that District Title, after being runner-up to Northwestern last season.
Whitehall Volleyball- Joe Joe Herman Profile
The Whitehall Boys Volleyball Team just finished one of their most successful seasons in program history in which they claimed an EPC and District XI Title. It was a total team effort throughout the season but one player that contributed to the team's success game after game was EPC League MVP Joe Joe Herman.
Parkland Volleyball Feature
The Parkland Volleyball Team has been one of the most dominant programs in recent years winning seven League Titles, eight District Titles, and three State Titles. The PIAA 4A Volleyball Semifinals got underway Tuesday night at Quakertown Community High School. With a Semifinal matchup between Parkland and Bishop Shanahan. Which makes it the 3rd straight year these two teams have met in the PIAA 4A Semifinal.

Northampton Upsets Bethlehem Catholic in Boys Basketball
The Northampton boys basketball team traveled to Bethlehem Catholic hoping to beat a team with just one loss for the second time in two nights. The K-Kids knocked off Central Catholic Thursday night in a convincing 60-45 win to hand them their second loss in a row. Bethlehem Catholic's only loss is from Abington over a month ago and currently on a 9 game win streak.
High School Girls Basketball- Whitehall vs. William Allen
An EPC Conference showdown took place Tuesday night between Whitehall and William Allen at Sewards Gymnasium. This would be an out of Division game for both teams as Allen entered this matchup with an 8-5 record while Whitehall entered with a record of 4-9.

A Colonial League Girls Basketball showdown took place Tuesday night as Wilson and Notre Dame G.P. met on the hard court. Wilson entered this matchup on a three game winning streak, while Notre Dame was looking for a win to end their season at a perfect 18-0 against Colonial League opponents.

The Easton Red Rovers hosted their Annual Youth Basketball Camp at the Easton Middle School which began earlier this week. The four day camp is ran by Easton Head Coach Ben Childs and throughout the four days the campers will be put to the test as they run different drills to become better basketball players.

The Colonial League Championship showdown was set between (2) Southern Lehigh and (4) Bangor. This would be the third time this season these two teams would meet with Bangor winning the previous two matchups. The Slaters were looking to win their fifth straight Colonial League Title, while Southern Lehigh was looking to win their first Colonial League Title since 1994.

2018 Will Wotring LAX Fest
This year Quarry Lane Park was the home to the 17th annual Will Wotring LAX Fest. Each year since Will's passing in 2002, there has been a lacrosse tournament in efforts to preserve the fallen athletes name. Since the start of the tournament they have raised around $20,000, all going to Project Help, an organization Will himself used to work with.
Headstrong Lacrosse Clinic at Southern Lehigh
The Southern Lehigh lacrosse programs recently held a clinic for a very special cause: the Headstrong Foundation. Founded in memory of Nick Colleluori, a Hofstra lacrosse player who passed away from non Hodgkins lymphoma in 2006. The foundation's mission is to improve the quality of life for cancer patients and their families.

With the weather taking a toll on this years baseball season teams have had to make up a lot of games and play them in a short amount of time. Emmaus with a tough week taking on two District Champions in their respective classes, Allentown Central Catholic being one of those. A big test for both teams as Emmaus was looking to take down the Vikings who were coming off two straight wins, while the Hornets were looking to bounce back after their first loss of the season against Wilson West Lawn.

From there, he went to Southern Lehigh to help lead that program to its' first District title, but now back at his roots at Emmaus as 1st year head coach, where he hopes to get the program back to its glory of another DXI Championship.
Central Catholic Boys Lacrosse Gear Up For 2018 Season
The Allentown Central Catholic boys lacrosse team has started their training indoors at the Iron Lake Sports Club. The Vikings are coming of their best season ever, winning both the EPC and District XI 2A Championships. They would win their first round game in PIAA States but would eventually lose in the quarterfinal round. The team is looking to take it a step further this year with high hopes of another run in the state playoffs.

High School Boys Lacrosse- Parkland vs. Emmaus
An EPC showdown between Parkland and Emmaus took place Monday night at Memorial Field. Parkland entered this matchup with their perfect 16-0 record on the line looking to secure win number seventeen to end their regular season. As for Emmaus they entered this one looking for some revenge, as these two teams met earlier in the season in a contest Parkland won by one goal.

An EPC boys Lacrosse showdown took place last Thursday between two of the top teams in the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference in Emmaus and Parkland. Emmaus entered this matchup after suffering a loss in their last contest against Central Catholic, and as for Parkland they entered as the only undefeated team in the EPC. This was more then just another matchup as the outcome of this game would have serious playoff implications.

The Colonial League Baseball season is coming to an end as the Championship contest was set between (1) Northwestern Lehigh and (3) Notre Dame Green Pond. The Northwestern Tigers entered the Colonial League Title game on a twelve game winning streak, as for the Notre Dame Crusaders they entered the Championship match on a ten game winning streak.

Hellertown would force a game three in this Northampton League Championship series and it would be a decisive one. If Hellertown wins this they would take the title for the second time in three seasons.

There will always be great rivalries between schools, but very few are like the Phillipsburg Easton rivalry. The baseball teams met up Monday night fighting for both a win and the chance to hoist that rivalry trophy in the air.

Easton Area High School has been keeping very busy this summer, hosting many different types of camps. This one was hosted by the baseball team in hopes of teaching the youngsters all there is to know about the sport. The coaches and players also use this as a way to connect with the kids in their community and create relationships with the future of Easton baseball.

We've visited both the Bethlehem football camp as well as the softball one, but last week it was time for some baseball! The Bethlehem baseball camp was hosted by Joe Stellato who brought in two top-tier, high school baseball coaches in Nick D'Amico from Freedom and Andy Pitsilos from Liberty. The kids not only had a great experience learning what will be expected of them in the future but also, a lot of fun!
Wilson Warriors Get Their First Win in 15 Games
The Wilson Warriors were looking to get their first win in 15 games, a losing streak that lasted for almost two seasons. With the help of RB Job Goodman and his 5 touchdowns on the day, the Warriors were able to end the losing streak as well as give Coach Labatch his first win as head coach.
Stroudsburg vs. Whitehall High School Football
Stroudsburg traveled to Whitehall on Friday looking to feed off their previous win over Central Catholic. The Zephyrs were coming off a 56-14 loss to Bethlehem Catholic and hoping to get back on track.
Southern Lehigh vs. Palisades Football
A game of two unbeaten teams in the Colonial League, in Southern Lehigh and Palisades. The rivalry has gone on for 47 years and the Spartans have won 35 of those meetings. Both teams competing to keep that losing column at 0.
Phillipsburg Football Prepares for 2017 Season
The New Jersey football schedule is a little different than Pennsylvania's, their football season begins two weeks later than our regular EPC and Colonial teams do. The Phillipsburg football program went 5-5 last year but Coach Frank Duffy is not happy with that. The Stateliners did not win the division, fell in first round of states and lost to Easton on Thanksgiving Day; a game they consider to be one of the biggest of their entire season. This year they aim to be more consistent and balanced on offensive.

Last years McDonalds All-Star Football Classic was mostly offensive with the final score being 65-62, but this year Gold team's head coach Kyle Haas has a different game plan up his sleeve.
