PIAA 1A Boys Soccer Championship
The Moravian Academy Lions and the Winchester Thurston Bears took the pitch in Chocolate Town to determine the District XI 1A Championship.
PIAA 3A Girls Volleyball Championship
The Southern Lehigh Spartans squared off against the Palmyra Cougars at Cumberland Valley High School in a championship battle.
District XI 6A Football Championship
The Parkland Trojans and the Nazareth Blue Eagles met under the lights at Al Erdosy Stadium in a fight to crown this season's District XI 6A Champions.
PIAA 3A Girls Volleyball Semifinal- Southern Lehigh vs. Garden Spot
The Southern Lehigh Spartans have reached the PIAA 3A Volleyball Semifinal as they faced Garden Spot with a chance to move on to the State Title.
High School Softball & Baseball- Phillipsburg vs. Easton
The 2 Sports Challenge Series between cross river rivals Phillipsburg and Easton came to an end this past weekend. The Challenge Series going into Saturday's matchups was in Easton's favor as they lead the series 10-8. With two games left, one on the Softball field and one on the Baseball diamond. Would Phillipsburg be able to tie the Series or would Easton run away and win the Challenge Series Trophy outright.
Northampton & Freedom High School Signing Days
With the High School Sports seasons coming to an end one day most Student Athletes look forward to is their Letter of Intent Signing Days. This was no different at Northampton and Freedom High School as Student Athletes signed on the dotted line to continue their athletic and academic careers at the next level.
District XI Boys Tennis Team Championships
The District XI Boys Tennis Team Championships took place this past Thursday. The District XI 2A Finals Match was between Central Catholic and Moravian Academy and on the 3A side of things the Championship matchup was between Liberty and Nazareth.
Easton Wall of Fame Banquet
Easton hosted its sixth annual Wall of Fame Banquet this past Saturday. A night that celebrates the history of Easton sports in which fourteen varsity athletes and nine varsity teams were honored and inducted into the Easton Wall of Fame.
High School Boys Lacrosse- Parkland vs. Central Catholic
An EPC showdown took place Tuesday night between two of the top teams in the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference in Parkland and Central Catholic. These two teams faced each other earlier in the season in a contest that Parkland won by just one goal.
Relentless Hope Charity Match
The fourth annual Relentless Hope Charity Match took place over the past weekend. An event were two communities come together in hopes of raising funds and awareness for their respective causes. Emmaus supporting the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network and Southern Lehigh supporting the HeadStrong Foundation both fighting to help those affected by cancer.
Emmaus Tennis- Sean Jaeger Profile
Emmaus Tennis standout Sean Jaeger just swept through the District XI Tournament dropping only two games in five matches in which he went on to claim his second District XI Title. The Sophomore plans on continuing to improve his play as he gets ready for a run in the State Tournament.
Liberty High School Signing Day

The District XI Boys Tennis Singles Championships were hosted at Lehigh University this past Thursday. Which would see a rematch from last years 3A Finals Match and a new Champion is crowned in the 2A Finals.
High School Baseball- Notre Dame G.P. vs. Northwestern
A Colonial League matchup took place Monday as Northwestern hosted Notre Dame Green Pond. Notre Dame entered this showdown looking to turn their recent play around as they have only won two out of their last five games. As for Northwestern they entered this contest looking for their fifth straight win.
High School Girls Lacrosse- Saucon Valley vs. Freedom
An out of conference contest for Saucon Valley and Freedom took place last Thursday. Saucon Valley entered this showdown as the only undefeated Girls Lacrosse Team left in District XI. As for Freedom they entered this matchup after their big upset win over Emmaus.
High School Boys Lacrosse- Emmaus vs. Parkland
An EPC boys Lacrosse showdown took place last Thursday between two of the top teams in the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference in Emmaus and Parkland. Emmaus entered this matchup after suffering a loss in their last contest against Central Catholic, and as for Parkland they entered as the only undefeated team in the EPC. This was more then just another matchup as the outcome of this game would have serious playoff implications.
Colonial League Boys Tennis Championships
The Colonial League Boys Tennis Championships were hosted at Saucon Valley High School this past Wednesday. Moravian Academy entered the postseason with the best record in the Colonial League with a record of 14-1. While last year's Colonial League Champions Saucon Valley were looking to win the Colonial League Title in back to back years.
High School Boys Tennis- Parkland vs. Emmaus
An EPC Boys Tennis showdown was held Tuesday at Emmaus High School between two of the top teams in the EPC in Parkland and Emmaus. Both teams looking to get back into the win column after suffering a loss in their last contest.
High School Boys Lacrosse- Central Catholic vs. Emmaus
An EPC Boys Lacrosse showdown took place Monday at Memorial Field between Central Catholic and Emmaus. Both of these teams are near the top in the EPC standings as Central Catholic entered this matchup with only one loss and for Emmaus they entered this matchup with a perfect 10-0 record.
High School Boys Volleyball- Northampton vs. Freedom
An EPC Boys Volleyball matchup was hosted at Freedom High School on Monday between Northampton and Freedom. At the midway point of the season both teams are playing some of their best volleyball yet, Northampton entered this showdown after winning five out of their last six games and for Freedom they entered this one winners in six out of their last seven contests.
High School Baseball- Palmerton vs. Notre Dame G.P.
A Colonial League matchup between Palmerton and Notre Dame Green Pond was held Friday at Notre Dame G.P. High School. Palmerton was looking to keep their two game winning streak alive as the took to the diamond, as for Notre Dame they entered this showdown looking to capture their fifth straight win.
High School Boys Tennis- Moravian Academy vs. Emmaus
An out of conference showdown between Moravian Academy and Emmaus took place Saturday at Emmaus High School. Moravian Academy is one of the top teams in the Colonial League and the same can be said for Emmaus in the EPC, both teams entered this matchup with twelve wins.
High School Boys Lacrosse- Southern Lehigh vs. Central Catholic
An out of Conference game between Southern Lehigh and Central Catholic took place Wednesday night at Muhlenberg College. Southern Lehigh entered this matchup with a four game winning streak on the line, as for Central Catholic they entered this showdown with a record of 6-1. This would be a rematch of last year's 2A District Title Game.
Bethlehem Catholic Football Skills Clinic
The Bethlehem Catholic Golden Hawks are coming off another successful campaign that ended with their third straight District Title. The Golden Hawks sure know what it means to be a champion, as the Golden Hawks Football Program hosted their "Be A Champion" Skills Clinic for young kids to learn the fundamentals and grow a passion for the game of football.
High School Softball- Bangor vs. Freedom
It was an out of conference showdown between Bangor and Freedom on Monday at Freedom High School. Both teams entered this matchup looking to bounce back into the win column after suffering a loss in their last matchup.
High School Boys Volleyball- Liberty vs. Parkland
An EPC Boys Volleyball matchup between Liberty and Parkland took place this past Friday at Parkland High School. Liberty entered this showdown on a three game winning streak, while Parkland entered this one looking to get back into the win column after suffering a loss to Emmaus.
Via Classic Super Saturday
The Via All-Star Classic has officially wrapped up with the Super Saturday All-Star games. Beginning with their clinics, then their All-Star Banquet, the Super Saturday brings the celebration of local high school basketball to a close. Eight teams composed of athletes from schools around the Lehigh Valley and surrounding area the athletes are recognized as All-Stars for their performance on and off the court.
Southern Lehigh Youth Lacrosse Clinic
The Southern Lehigh Boys and Girls Lacrosse teams hosted their annual Youth Lacrosse Clinic in partner with the HeadStrong Foundation to help raise funds and awareness in the fight against cancer.
EPC Athletes Deliver Donations to Lehigh Valley Health Network
Student Athletes from eighteen different high schools from around the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference got together for a competition fundraiser among the schools to raise donations for the Lehigh Valley Health Network.
High School Boys Tennis- Parkland vs. Stroudsburg
An EPC Boys Tennis matchup took place Tuesday as Parkland and Stroudsburg met on the tennis court. Parkland entered this showdown with an record of 6-0 as they looked to stay unbeaten, as for Stroudsburg they entered this matchup with a record of 6-1.
High School Boys Volleyball- Bethlehem Catholic vs. Easton
An EPC Boys Volleyball showdown took place over this past weekend between Bethlehem Catholic and Easton. Both teams entered this matchup with a record of 2-1. The Red Rovers were looking to get back into the win column after losing their last matchup against Whitehall, while the Golden Hawks were looking to continue their winning streak.
March Mayhem Football Weekend
A different take on March Madness, St. Luke's March Mayhem Football Weekend took place this past Saturday and Sunday as High School Football Athletes from fourteen different schools competed in an football combine. The athletes competed as individuals and as a team for prizes and to see how they compare to athletes all around the nation.
High School Softball- Emmaus vs. Nazareth
An EPC Skyline Division matchup between Emmaus and Nazareth was held this past Tuesday at Nazareth Intermediate School. Emmaus entered this matchup after winning their season opener 18-0 against Blue Mountain. As for Nazareth this would be their season opener, as the Blue Eagles finished last season with a record of 22-5.
High School Baseball- Parkland vs. Northampton
An EPC Skyline Division showdown took place this past Tuesday at Lisetski Field at Northampton High School between Parkland and Northampton. This would be the season opener for both teams.
High School Baseball & Softball- Southern Lehigh vs. Wilson
A Colonial League matchup took place this past Monday as Southern Lehigh and Wilson met on the Baseball and Softball diamond. The Southern Lehigh Spartans entered this Baseball season as defending Colonial League Champions looking to start their season on the right foot as they took to the diamond against Wilson who entered this matchup after winning their season opener against Notre Dame. As for the Softball matchup Southern Lehigh was looking to remain undefeated as the two time defending District Champions took the field against Wilson.
PIAA 4A Girls Basketball Championship- Bethlehem Catholic vs. North Catholic
The PIAA 4A Girls Basketball Championship took place this past Saturday at the Giant Center in Hershey as Bethlehem Catholic faced North Catholic. Bethlehem Catholic entered this Championship showdown playing great basketball as of late as they won their first four PIAA matchups by double digits. Searching for one more win this season as they have reached the final stage, the Golden Hawks were hoping to become State Champions for the second time in the past three years.
PIAA 4A Girls Basketball Semifinal- Bethlehem Catholic vs. Bonner-Prendergast
The PIAA 4A Girls Basketball Semifinal was held this past Tuesday at Souderton High School as Bethlehem Catholic took the court against Bonner-Prendergast. The Golden Hawks last reached the PIAA Finals in 2017 when they ended their season as State Champions.
PIAA 3A Swimming and Diving Championships
The PIAA 3A Swimming and Diving Championships were held this past weekend at Bucknell University. District XI was well represented as Parkland, Emmaus, Nazareth, and Liberty all had swimmers and divers looking to place and secure a PIAA Medal.
PIAA 2A Swimming and Diving Championships
The PIAA 2A Swimming and Diving Championships took place this past Wednesday at Bucknell University. District XI had some standout swimmers and divers looking to claim gold as they entered the final races of their High School Career.
PIAA 5A Girls Basketball Second Round- Southern Lehigh vs. Lower Dauphin
A season ago the Southern Lehigh Girls Basketball Team made it all the way to the PIAA 5A Semifinals, hoping for another long postseason run the Spartans looked to move on to the Quarterfinals but first standing in their way in the Second Round of the PIAA Tournament was Lower Dauphin.
PIAA 4A Girls Basketball Second Round- Bethlehem Catholic vs. Gwynedd Mercy
The Bethlehem Catholic Girls Basketball Team was looking to advance past the Second Round of the state tournament for the second time in the last three years and back in 2017 the Golden Hawks were State Champions. Searching for the same success in their postseason run this year, the Golden Hawks took to the court in their second round matchup against Gwynedd Mercy.
PIAA 2A & 3A Wrestling State Championships
The PIAA 2A and 3A Individual Wrestling Championships took place at the Giant Center in Hershey this past weekend and as always District XI was well represented.
PIAA 6A Girls Basketball First Round- Freedom vs. Souderton
The PIAA 6A Girls Basketball First Round got underway this past Friday at Easton Area Middle School as Freedom faced Souderton.
PIAA 4A Boys Basketball First Round- Bethlehem Catholic vs. Prep Charter
Bethlehem Catholic entered the PIAA Tournament as District XI 4A Champions. This past Friday at Liberty High School the Golden Hawks hit the court against Prep Charter in the First Round of the State Tournament.
Flyers Cup AA 1st Round- (8) Neshaminy vs. (9) Parkland
The Parkland Trojans represent the Lehigh Valley Scholastic Hockey League in this years Flyers Cup. The Trojans entered the Flyers Cup after finishing their regular season with a record of 16-3-1 and beating Northampton in the LVSHL Title Series. Wednesday night the first round of the Flyers Cup got underway at Grundy Arena as (9) Parkland faced off against (8) Neshaminy.
