It has been an up and down season for Pittsburgh Steelers fans (me being one of them.)  One game, they look like the team they were expected to be; other games it’s like who are they?  How can a team that loses to the Bears and get blown out by the Jaguars be the same team who is 3-0 in the AFC North for the first time since 2008, sitting in first place in the division.  Now granted, if you look who is in the AFC North it is not very impressive.  But, yesterday’s win against the Begnals definitely was.  And here I go getting my hopes up again.

Now, I realize there is still a long road ahead of them, and recently they have struggled when it comes to the Patriots, but things are looking up.  The Steelers dominated in all aspects of the game yesterday.  Big Ben finally looked like “he still had it” going 14-24 with 224 yards, 2 TDs and 0 INT.  And I’ll tell you what, even if you are not a Steelers fan, you have to love watching Le’Veon Bell.  His patience and knowledge of the game is just so fun to watch.  He rushed for 134 yards, and tacked on 58 more through the air.  Then the defense did the rest in the second half.  The guys picked off Andy Dalton twice, sacked him three times, and were able to come away with the shutout.

The Steelers travel to Detroit for the Sunday night game next week.  The Lions are a team they SHOULD beat.  However, that seems to be the times they decide not to show up.  Lets hope the early season struggles are now behind them and they can play Steeler football the rest of the way out.  Because if not, head coach Mike Tomlin may be out.
