If you want to make it in this business, you have to be willing to put in the grind. That belief was drilled into my head early on when I decided I wanted to pursue a career in broadcasting. Part of that grind to the top is taking every and any opportunity that may come your way.

I have been very lucky to work with Fox Sports throughout my broadcasting journey. I started with Fox Sports as a production runner while I was still in college, and since then I have been given the opportunities to work on the biggest stages in sports. Most recently, I traveled down to Washington D.C. to take part in the 2018 MLB All-Star Game. It was a blast to say the least.

Helping out on events like the All-Star game always revive my motivation spark that can sometimes dull a little. Every single member on the crew, from the director, the producer, the technical director, the group working together to produce graphics, the camera men, the editors, the utilities, and the talent is extremely talented. It’s amazing to watch the best of the best hard at work at their craft, and witnessing all of attention to detail and preparation that goes into everything. It reminds me, also, of the years of hard work these individuals put it in to achieve the ultimate success.

My dream is to “make it” in this business, and report on one of the premiere events in the sporting world. If we’re being honest, I want a Super Bowl baby! As I continue to not only dream about covering these events, but work towards it, I am extremely thankful to take part in major events like the All-Star Game which keep my motivation juices flowing.
