LEHIGH TO HONOR TWO HOOP GREATS

It will be a nostalgic weekend for the Lehigh men's and women's basketball programs. Two of the university's all-time greats will be honored on Legends Weekend by having their uniform numbers displayed in the rafters at Stabler Arena.

The Lehigh women will face Army at 7:30 Saturday night. Two-time Patriot League Player of the Year Erica Prosser will have her number 21 honored. Lehigh won two Patriot League titles during Prosser's career. She was also named the league's Defensive Player of the Year as a senior in 2011. Prosser had 1,676 points in her career, third most in program history. The two players ahead of her, Anne Tierney and Sherie Androlewicz, already have their uniform numbers on display at Stabler. Prosser remains second in school history in assists and fourth in three-pointers made.

The Lehigh men will host Holy Cross at noon on Sunday. C.J. McCollum will be on hand to see his number 3 jersey unveiled at Stabler Arena. McCollum dropped 30 points on second-seeded Duke in Lehigh's monumental upset of the Blue Devils in the first round of the 2012 NCAA Tournament. C.J. finished his Lehigh career with 2,361 points, second only to Daren Queenan in Lehigh history. McCollum missed the entire league portion of the schedule as a senior because of an injury. He was a two-time Patriot League Player of the Year and became a lottery pick in the 2013 NBA Draft when Portland selected him tenth overall. He has averaged nearly 18 points per game during his six-year career with the Trail Blazers.

If you cannot make it to Stabler Arena this weekend, Service Electric will be televising both games and we will have coverage of both jersey ceremonies. We are also hoping to have Prosser (Saturday) and McCollum (Sunday) join us during the broadcast.
