Our professional sports coverage started with the Lehigh Valley IronPigs baseball team 10 years ago and has grown to include five professional sports teams. Our Emmy Award-winning productions feature expert analysis, high-definition video and more camera angles than any other local sports coverage provider. TV2 has won a pair of Emmy Awards for our in-depth sports coverage and is the exclusive television provider for four local professional sports teams. In addition to the IronPigs, we televise home games for the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, Lehigh Valley Steelhawks, and the Reading Fightin Phils.

Bethlehem Steel FC - Brenden Aaronson
Bethlehem Steel FC had a by week last week, but went 5-1 in the month of August and playing some pretty good soccer but not without the help of some young contributions. Brenden Aaronson at the ripe age of 17, has been making a huge impact on the Steel FC team and continues to make his way up through the system.
2018 Flyers Training Camp
It's hard to believe but hockey season is almost upon us! The official start to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms season begins on October 6th, but in the meantime players have been getting in gear for this 2018 season both on and off the ice at the Philadelphia Flyers training camp.
Lehigh Valley IronPigs vs. Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders- Governors' Cup Playoffs Game 1 Recap
For the third straight year the IronPigs have made the post-season though they have not had any luck getting past the first round. In this Game one match-up against the RailRiders in the Governors' Cup Playoffs, the IronPigs look to keep their season alive and move deeper into the Playoffs.
LV IronPigs Win First IL North Title

Spring Training Report with IronPigs Manager Gary Jones
The LV IronPigs with a new manger this year, as former manger Dusty Wotham has headed up to the big leagues as a third base coach, but bringing in Cubs third base coach in Gary Jones to fill that position. Jones, a 2016 World Series Champion, also brings 27 years of managerial and coaching experience and 15 times has managed a minor league team, 5 of those at the Triple-A level.
Bethlehem Steel FC in 2018 Home Opener
Bethlehem Steel FC would kick off their 3rd season as a club at home at Lehigh University's, Goodman Stadium. Only in their third season, but coming off their most successful one yet that featured them in the playoffs for the first time. The Steel wanting to do a better job at home this year and were looking to get a win at home over the Richmond Kickers to start off their 2018 season.
Phantoms Visit Children's Hospital

Air date - Feb 26, 2018 As the Lehigh Valley Phantoms Youth organization continues to grow, so does the interest in becoming a goaltender. With two devoted practices per week, the club has an estimated 40 aspiring goalies across all age levels. Earlier this month they welcomed Phantoms netminders Alex Lyon and Dustin Tokarski to a goalies-only session to learn from some of the best in the business.
Phantoms Welcome Big Brothers Big Sisters to PPL Center
Members of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Lehigh Valley felt like part of the team, enjoying a special night with player hosts, Corban Knight, T.J. Brennan and Cole Bardreau. The Bigs and Littles got the inside scoop on what it’s like to be a professional hockey player, exploring the team’s locker room facilities and even had a chance to step onto the Phantoms home ice themselves.
2018 AHL All-Star Classic
Last month, a pair of Lehigh Valley Phantoms had a chance to represent the orange and black at the annual AHL All-Star Classic. Returning to Utica, NY for the second time in four seasons, veteran defenseman T.J. Brennan made his fifth consecutive All-Star appearance alongside rookie teammate and winger Oskar Lindblom. Kristi Fulkerson made the trip north and recaps the two-day event for the Phantoms skaters, featuring the All-Star Skills Competition and All-Star Challenge.

2018 Outdoor Classic: Hershey Bears vs. LV Phantoms
Back in 2012 the Phantoms mounted a last second comeback to beat the Bears at Citizen Bank Park in front of an AHL record crowd of over 45,000. They tied the game with 20.8 seconds left and winning it in the opening minute of OT. In fact entering into the game, the Bears with a 0-0-2 record in outdoor games. Temperatures much milder this past weekend at 35 degrees at puck drop at Hersheypark Stadium with a crowd of over 13,000.
Philadelphia Phillies Rising Star: Rhys Hoskins
Rhys Hoskins burst onto the Major League scene last summer, slamming a record 18 homers in his first 34 games. With the Phillies signing free agent first baseman Carlos Santana, it appears Hoskins will be the everyday left fielder in 2018. Steve Degler talked to Hoskins on Tuesday in Reading about his new position and what to expect from him in his upcoming season.
LV IronPigs Coca-Cola Park Extends Safety Net
There has been scary stories of fans getting hit by foul balls and broken baseball bats at any park, but at Coca-Cola Park they're doing something to prevent it. Last year they lengthened the safety-net, but they look to lengthen it again. They also got a higher quality net, in "ballpark camouflage green", that offers the highest visibility of any net on the market.
New Philadelphia Phillies Manager: Gabe Kapler
On October 30, 2017, the Philadelphia Phillies announced that they had hired Gabe Kapler as their new manager, the 54th in team history. Our own Steve Degler was at the Phillies Caravan and got to talk with Capler about what is in store for him and his team in the 2018 season. This is Kapler's first time as a Manager in the Big Leagues.
Bears to Host Phantoms in 2018 Outdoor Classic
The Hershey Bears and Lehigh Valley Phantoms will meet for a third time in eight days on Saturday when they meet in the AHL Outdoor Classic at Hersheypark Stadium. It will be the second outdoor game between the two rivals, the first since the Phantoms arrived in Allentown in 2014. Kristi Fulkerson previews the event coming up this weekend in Chocolatetown.

Steelhawks Announce New Head Coach
The Lehigh Valley Steelhawks will kick off their 8th season in the Spring and they'll do it with a new head coach. After 6 years, Coach Thompson will be leaving the franchise for an opportunity in the Arena Football League. Thompson was at the press conference that announced Bob Kohler as their new head coach.

Bethlehem Steel FC hosted in-state rival in Pittsburgh, both teams coming off a draw and both searching for a trip into the playoffs. More than just a soccer game as Steel FC ditched their navy jersey for gold as they raised money and awareness for Pediatric Cancer.
Philadelphia Flyers Training Camp
The Flyers fans got taste of the upcoming season with the Flyers Rookie Game last week and with 13,000 fans present you can tell they are certainly excited for this season to begin. Training camp for the Flyers underway last week, with 55 total players hitting the ice in New Jersey, several players on the bubble and hoping to make it up to the big club.
Flyers Rookie Game
The start of the NHL season is here and the Flyers Rookie camp came to an end as the team hit the ice for an exhibition game against the New York Islanders. All 5 of the 2017 draft picks suited up as well as several previous Phantoms players and LV Coach Scott Gordon.
Things were not looking good in the month of August for the IronPigs but we got to see a little glimpse of the team we watched in July. The Pigs had to sweep the series against the International League North leader, Scranton/Wilkes Barre, and they would do just that. The win would sweep the series against the Railriders as well as get the Pigs into the semifinals.

Reading Fightin Phils vs. Harrisburg Senators in Series Finale
The Fightin Phils finishing up the four game set with Harrisburg before starting the next series against New Hampshire. The Fightin's defense would come up big and ultimately decide the game and series against the Senators. With the win the Fightin's improve to 6 games over 500, now with a record of 69-63 on the season.
Philadelphia Soul vs. Tampa Bay Storm in Arena Bowl XXX
The Philadelphia Soul had the chance to make history the past weekend by winning in the Arena Bowl XXX. The Soul were looking to become just the third team in Arena Bowl history to win back to back championships while the Tampa Bay Storm were looking for their 6th championship in franchise history.
IronPigs vs. Syracuse Chiefs
The IronPigs and Syracuse Chiefs concluded the 4 game series on Thursday and the Pigs walked away with a win and were able to split the series. The split allowed for the Pigs to move from 4 to 3 games behind Rochester.
Reading Fightin's vs. Harrisburg Senators
The Fightins lost 7-3 in their 4 game series with the Bowie Baysox, but they would look to turn things around in the first of four games against the Harrisburg Senators. It would be the final series played at home in Baseballtown and what a better way to start things off than with a little Star Wars Tribute.
Reading Fightin Phils vs. Bowie Baysox
The Reading Fightin's playing more than nine innings and for more than 4 hours, in the second game of the three game series against the Bowie Baysox. It was also Baseballtown Hall of Fame night, as three inductees were recognized in front of 5,000 people in the crowd.
Bethlehem Steel FC vs. Toronto
With only 10 games remaining in the regular season, Steel FC looking for a win against Toronto to move up to sixth place in the Eastern Conference standings.
Jon Schaeffer Moves On From The IronPigs
It would be the end of an era for IronPigs Baseball as the voice of the Lehigh Valley IronPigs and one of the original Pigs staff members, says goodbye to the organization. Kyle Busch in the Overton's 400
The Overton's 400 took place this past Sunday at the Pocono Raceway, where driver Kyle Busch would look to reach another milestone in his career. Busch would try to make this his 100th win for Toyota as well as win for the first time at Pocono Raceway. Busch has now won on 22 of the 23 active Monster NASCAR Energy Cup Series tracks.

The Bethlehem Steel FC recently ended their 8 game unbeaten streak with their loss to Richmond, but Steel would try to get back on track in this game against the Charlotte Independence.
The IronPigs vs. Gwinnett Braves in 3rd Game of the Series
The Lehigh Valley IronPigs going into the third game of the four game series with the Gwinnett Braves, looking to get their 64th win of the year. An inside of the park grand slam by J.P. Crawford becomes the first ever in Lehigh Valley IronPig history.
