The Bethlehem Catholic girl's basketball team has their sights on defending their three titles from last year. Last night their quest began as they welcomed in Parkland who would give them a run early on.
EPC Cheerleading Championship
The Colonial League Championship saw Northwestern and Wilson walk away with a title and now it was the East Penn Conference's turn. Each of the teams were looking to take down the defending champ in Easton. One of the teams even recruited some unlikely members to help them out.
Emmaus Girl's Basketball Prepares for a New Season with a New Coach
The Emmaus Green Hornets girl's basketball team has had a revolving door the past few years with 4 different coaches coming in and out of the program. With the excitement of a new season ahead of them there is even more excitement about their new head coach; Kelsey Gallagher. Gallagher was a standout player at East Stroudsburg South and Bloomsburg University. She continued her love for the game when she became the assistant coach at East Stroudsburg South, but her dream was to be a head coach. In June, that dream came true when she accepted the head coach position at Emmaus High School.
Bethlehem Catholic Girl's Basketball Prepares for the Season
One team to watch this year, the defending State Champions, the Bethlehem Catholic girl's basketball team. The girls picked up right where they left off and with three main things in mind for this season: "quicker, faster, stronger".
Northwestern vs. Lower Dauphin in Boy's Soccer PIAA 3A State Final
The Northwestern boy's soccer team was back in Hershey for the second straight year, but this time they were hoping for a different outcome. In last year's PIAA 3A State Semifinal they faced Lower Dauphin and lost 3-0.
Phillipsburg vs. Irvington in Sectional Semifinal
The Phillipsburg football team was looking for a win against Irvington in the North 2 Group 4 Semifinal on Friday with the hopes of continuing on to their eighth sectional Championship.
Northwestern Lehigh Boy's and Girl's Soccer in PIAA Semifinal Action
Both the Northwestern boy's and girl's soccer teams were in the PIAA State Semifinals, where they would play a doubleheader at Upper Perk on Tuesday night. The girls up first against Saint Basil and the boys to follow against Archbishop Wood.
Parkland vs. Bishop Shanahan in PIAA Volleyball Semifinals
Parkland looking for a big win over Bishop Shanahan to get back to the PIAA State Finals for the 5th year in a row. Parkland facing a team that made "Redemption Tour 2017" t-shirts for this season, after the Trojans ended their season last year in the semifinals.
Central Catholic vs. West York in PIAA Volleyball Semifinals
The Central Catholic girl's volleyball team, a mainstay in District XI volleyball, was looking to keep their season alive in the the PIAA Semifinals. Central up against West York for the second year in the row, on the road to another State Championship match.
Parkland Girl's Soccer: Dream Come True
The Parkland girl's soccer team had a perfect League and District season, with two championships under their belt but once in the State Tournament, they were one and done. All the success during their season though, pails in comparison to what they've done off the field.. for a little boy named LJ.

Notre Dame Green Pond vs. EL Meyers - PIAA Soccer First Round
The Notre Dame Green Pond boys soccer team has already had such a historic regular season, capturing the programs first-ever District XI Title. Now, in the first round of the PIAA State Playoffs they look to continue making history by capturing their first State playoff victory.
Kennett vs. Parkland - PIAA Boys Soccer First Round
The Parkland Trojans also having a fantastic regular season but not wanting to repeat last years one-and-out appearance in the PIAA State Playoffs.
PIAA Boys Cross Country State Championship
The 2017 boys cross country season wrapping up at Hershey at the Parkview Cross Country Championships, with almost 700 runners showcasing their talent in all three classifications combined.
PIAA Girl's Cross Country State Championship
The 2017 girls cross country season for the Class 1, 2 and 3A would come to a close this past weekend. This would be the time for the senior runners to make their final mark on their careers.
District XI 4A Girls Volleyball - Freedom vs. Parkland & Nazareth vs. Liberty
After defeating Central Catholic for the EPC Title the Liberty Hurricanes would take down Whitehall to earn heir spot in the District XI 4A Semifinal to face the Nazareth Blue Eagles. In the other semifinal matchup, it would be Freedom vs. Parkland.
Easton vs. Emmaus Boy's & Girl's in District XI 4A Soccer Semifinal
It would be the same two schools competing on both the boys and girls soccer teams. The District XI 4A soccer semifinals took place at Whitehall High School with the boys up first and the girls to follow.
Palisades vs. Northwestern Girls District XI 2A Championship
In the third game this season between the two teams, Palisades and Northwestern, the two would battle for the District XI 2A Title. Northwestern was coming in as the one seed while Palisades the 2. The last time Northwestern won the District Title was in 2014, while the Palisades program has never clinched that title.
Central Catholic vs. Liberty in the EPC Volleyball Championship
These two teams have not seen each other once this season, due to the fact that they are in two different divisions. Liberty in the Steel Division while Central Catholic in the Skyline, both teams atop those divisions and with one common goal... capturing the EPC Title.
Liberty vs. Nazareth High School Football
One team turning heads of late is the Nazareth Blue Eagles, after a big win over Freedom they have only improved from there. Liberty and Nazareth came into Friday's matchup, both in must-win situations and looking to solidify their playoff berths.
Stroudsburg vs. Whitehall High School Football
Stroudsburg traveled to Whitehall on Friday looking to feed off their previous win over Central Catholic. The Zephyrs were coming off a 56-14 loss to Bethlehem Catholic and hoping to get back on track.
Parkland vs. Easton in Girl's Field Hockey
The field hockey regular season is winding down and these two teams hoping to contend for a League and a potential District Title. Easton took on Parkland as they would try to take on the task of scoring on a goalie who hasn't allowed more than 4 goals by her in a single game.
Central Catholic vs. Parkland in Girl's Volleyball
The Central Catholic girl's volleyball team has has been having a one of a kind season, racking up 12 straight wins and remaining undefeated. The Vikettes were looking to do something no team has done yet this season, beat Parkland for the second time.
Freedom and Emmaus Go Gold!
Going back to last weekend, Freedom hosted Emmaus on the gridiron but instead of it being just another game, the Patriots and the Hornets got together to raise awareness for Pediatric Cancer.
Emmaus Hosts EPC Cross Country Meet
It was senior day for the Emmaus Boys and Girls Cross Country runners. The Hornets welcomed in five other EPC squads to Lehigh Valley Parkway, for what could be a decisive meet, come the postseason.
Moravian Academy vs. Southern Lehigh Field Hockey
The Moravian Academy field hockey team have won 7 straight games and they looked to keep that streak going heading into the game against Southern Lehigh. The Spartans are coming into the contest at 11-2.
Parkland vs. Emmaus Girl's Volleyball
The Green Hornets put an end to a winning streak (in matchplay) that started in 2009 for the Parkland Trojans. Not only did they win but they swept them in 3 sets. If that isn't enough motivation to get the win this time around, then I don't know what is. Both teams were coming into the contest with only two losses on the season.
EPC Tennis Championships
With the District XI Singles tournament getting underway this week, the final set for Winning Touch in Allentown on Thursday. Meanwhile Freedom High School hosted the East Penn Conference Championship.
Northwestern vs. Saucon Valley High School Football
Last year when Saucon Valley and Northwestern met, the Tigers came way with a 156 victory. The Panthers looking for a different outcome as they came into the match at 3-2.
Emmaus vs. Freedom in EPC Football
Another big game in the East Penn Conference with Emmaus and Freedom. Emmaus just getting by Freedom last year and the Patriots were certainly looking to avenge that loss. Both teams stepped onto the gridiron with matching 3-2 records.
Emmaus vs. Central Catholic Girl's Volleyball
The Allentown Central Catholic girl's volleyball team continues their reign in the East Penn Conference. They remain undefeated heading into the match against an Emmaus team, with only one loss and a huge win over a dominant Parkland team. As one would probably expect.. this game was certainly not for the faint of heart.
Colonial League Tennis Championship
The Colonial League tennis championship took place once again at the Saucon Valley tennis courts. Southern Lehigh went in as the favorite, with Salisbury coming in at second place. Moravian Academy was the reigning champion but finished the regular season tied with Notre Dame.
Southern Lehigh vs. Saucon Valley Girl's Soccer
The Southern Lehigh girl's soccer team hosting a team undefeated Colonial League team in, Saucon Valley. The defending Colonial League Champions may just be the team do finally give the Panthers their first loss.
Easton vs. Bethlehem Catholic in EPC Title Match
The EPC regular season title on line for the Easton Red Rovers as they face Bethlehem Catholic. Head Coach Joe Rossi has accomplished many milestones in his 21 years of coaching but one thing he still hadn't accomplished was an unbeaten season.
Southern Lehigh vs. Bangor in Girl's Field Hockey
Southern Lehigh coming into the game at 9-2 and looking to use the home field advantage against an undefeated Bangor team. The last time the two met was in the District XI 2A Title game where Southern Lehigh came out on top, could they do it again this year?
Parkland vs. Central Catholic Girls Volleyball
A battle between the two teams that made it to the state final last year, in their respective classes, as Parkland and Central Catholic go head to head for the first time this season. Central is coming into the contest still unbeaten at 8-0 while Parkland is coming off their first lost since 2009.
Northampton vs. Emmaus Football
After starting the year at 1-2, Emmaus is looking to get back on track. The Hornets with a win against Pocono Mountain West last week and now looking to make it two in a row against Northampton.
Bethlehem Catholic vs. Liberty Football
Bethlehem Catholic was looking to advance to 5-0 on the season while Liberty was looking to snap their 3 game losing streak.
Central Catholic vs. Whitehall Girl's Volleyball Match
The 8-0, defending State Champions in Central Catholic Vikettes, take on the Zephyrs of Whitehall in another tough EPC Matchup. Can Central continue that unbeaten streak?
Emmaus vs. Bethlehem Catholic in Girl's Soccer
In the EPC, the Emmaus girl's soccer team hosted Bethlehem Catholic on Thursday night. Going into the matchup both teams knew it was going to be a competitive one. Emmaus coming into the contest at 5-2-1 record as Becahi would be at 4-4.
Freedom vs. Bethlehem Catholic in Girls Tennis
The Bethlehem Catholic tennis team did not lose a match last season until the second round of the PIAA tournament (excluding EPC Tournament), but going into Monday's match against Freedom the Golden Hawks would have twice as many losses. The Freedom Patriots on the other hand are taking their 10-0 overall record into this week.
Southern Lehigh vs. Palisades Football
A game of two unbeaten teams in the Colonial League, in Southern Lehigh and Palisades. The rivalry has gone on for 47 years and the Spartans have won 35 of those meetings. Both teams competing to keep that losing column at 0.
Liberty vs. Whitehall Football
Undefeated Whitehall coming into the game at 3-0, while the Canes of Liberty was looking to even their record at 2-2. Whitehall would take advantage being at their home field especially for one Dez Boykin, who would break the all-time record for career receptions at 139.
Northwestern Lehigh vs. Bangor Boys Soccer
The Northwestern Lehigh boys soccer team has won the Colonial League three of the last four years and off to another great start. Although, Bangor would prove to be a good test in their game last week.
Central Catholic vs. Emmaus Girls Soccer
It would be the same matchup on the girls side, with Central Catholic taking the trip to Emmaus. The Hornets were looking to keep their winning streak going with a third in a row, after falling to Parkland in their season opener. The Vikettes were looking to put a stop to their losing streak, after falling in their last two matches.
Emmaus vs. Central Catholic Boys Soccer
It was a tough EPC battle between the Emmaus Green Hornets and Allentown Central Catholic. Emmaus came to Central Catholic's home field, of Lehigh County Fields. Emmaus coming into the matchup at 3-1 record, while Central is 2-1, but just coming off a 3-1 win over Whitehall.
Freedom vs. Easton Football Game
The Easton Red Rovers are one of the final teams left in the EPC to be undefeated. The Rovers would host the Freedom Patriots who are also 2-0. Easton's defense would make some big plays in this game, helping to propel the Rovers to the win.
