Both the Lehigh and Lafayette field hockey teams are having a roller coaster of a season. The Leopards have lost four straight, sitting at 5-5 on the year. The Mountain Hawks have lost three straight with a 2-9 overall record. So what better way to end a losing streak than against your rival? That’s right, the two squads will face off tonight under the lights at Bethlehem, in what should be a VERY competitive match. This year it could truly be anyone’s game, which is great news for the Mountain Hawks as the Leopards hold a 13 game win streak, and 39-12-3 all time record.

While the win will be important for both teams, the Mountain Hawks will be the team who needs it more. With a 0-3 record in the Patriot League, a win would at least put them back in the mix for a potential Patriot League Tournament berth. The Leopards are 1-1 in league play, so they have a little more breathing room but they would love to get a little more security (which goes without say.)

Good luck to both teams!
