It has been quite a year for Lehigh sports, which saw their football and Softball teams hoist a trophy.  Men’s basketball came up a win short; and despite a disappointing end in women’s lacrosse it was a year for the record books.

Well the school year is officially over, but four members of the Lehigh track and field teams are still representing the Mountain Hawks. This weekend Sophomore Maura Henderson and Freshman Hannah Patrick will be making their first appearance in the NCAA Regional meet, which will be held at the University of Kentucky.  Seniors Courtney Avery and Lucas Warning have both been there before.

All of the athletes rank in the top 48 of their event in the East Region, with the top 12 this weekend qualifying for the final round of the NCAA National Championships in Eugene, Oregon.  Avery, who is competing in the high jump, is the only Mountain Hawk to have advanced out of the four.

Good luck to all of the athletes!
