LABEAU LEADS LEHIGH, WITH RECORD BREAKING NIGHT

Growing up I loved playing sports. I played almost everything once, including Lacrosse.  I was good, not great by any stretch of the imagination, and Lehigh Senior Allison LaBeau would have made me look like I’ve never picked up a stick before. She nearly did that to Division I players Tuesday night in the Patriot League Quarter Finals.

But is anyone surprised? Well they shouldn’t be. LaBeau, has been leaving her mark at Lehigh since her freshman year. The reigning Attacker of the year has been named All-League all four years of her career.  After Tuesday nights performance, she probably sealed her fate to win it again.

LaBeau set a Patriot League Tournament single game record with 11 points (tying for 5th most by anyone in Div. I college lacrosse this season). Netting five goals, and tallying six assists. Oh yea and those six assists also set the Patriot League Tournament single game record. The captain credits her teammates for the record setting night, and she hopes they can keep their run going on Friday in the Semi-finals.
