Nazareth's Julian Liaci and Pocono Mountain East's Khyasia Caldwell are two senior athletes who excel at multiple sports, Liaci in football and track and Caldwell in basketball and track. Both swept their respective 100M and 200M races at the recent EPC track and field meet at East Stroudsburg South.

Caldwell also won the long jump for the 3rd straight year and will seek a 3rd straight PIAA title in the event in a few weeks. Liaci also knows what it's like to win PIAA gold anchoring the winning 4 x 100 relay at states last May. He was 6th at states in the 100 last year.

Liaci is the two-time defending District champion in the 100. His hand-held time of 10.2 in the first meet of the season certainly raised eyebrows. His 10.67 FAT (fully-automated time) at the EPC meet was solid but he's confident he can go lower than 10.6 either at districts or states or both.

Liaci is a 2nd team All-State wide receiver who also played basketball at Nazareth and Caldwell was the leading scorer on the Cardinal's basketball team this past season. Both are division one athletes. Liaci will play football at Villanova and Caldwell will continue her track career at Virginia. Liaci hinted to may try out for track if his college football coaches allow it.
